Don has served on our Board of Directors since 2013. Until his retirement, he served as a Senior Safety Engineer at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and is a Certified Safety Professional. He earned a Masters of Science degree in Industrial Management from the State University of New York at Stony Brook

Guy has served on our Board of Directors since 2016. He is a Consulting CFO to a broad range of start-up ventures. In that capacity, he efficiently assists early-stage growth and provides C-Level advice and analysis to CEOs and their Boards. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Harvard University.

Jan has served on our Board of Directors since 2018. Until her retirement, Jan's profession was the strategy, planning, and execution of integrated global marketing programs for the technology industry. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. 

John has served on our Board of Directors since 2008. Until his retirement, John was a Circuit Design Manager. He earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. 

Michelle has served on our Board of Directors since 2022. She has lived in the Hills with her husband for 19 years, raised 2 children, and cared for an elderly mother on Vista Lane.  Her Vista Lane community and the Burlingame Hills at large are exceptional and have provided her family with a life experience that cannot be taken for granted. 

Prior to reducing her focus on work, Michelle owned and managed a wholesale automotive parts warehouse in San Francisco, the third generation to take over the family business.   Over the years she has served on many automotive industry group boards as well as the parent boards of her children’s school.

Traveling, gardening, learning languages, and spending time with family and friends are her current pursuits.

Being an empty nester and having a reduced work schedule, she is able to dedicate time to pursuits that were not possible before, such as joining the BHIA Board.    Simply, it is time for her to give back and join the community of volunteers that are actively fostering the health and well-being of our great neighborhood.

Rodrigo has served on our Board since 2022. He has lived in Burlingame Hills since 2012. He also resided in Burlingame Hills during his Freshman year in High School. He works in the marketing communications industry for global agency, MC2, serving as the SVP of Marketing Strategy. He currently chairs of the Industry Experience Management Advisory Board, at his alma mater, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He's been on the board since 2006.

Rodrigo has extensive experience in; brand strategy, communications, marketing, business leadership, consumer technology, start-ups and global business affairs. He has a strong interest in adding value to the Burlingame community. He has two daughters, Mia 13 and Giselle 10. Attending BIS and Hoover.
